Sebastian is extremely passionate to drive the 5D’s fueling our energy future: Decentralization, Decarbonization, Disruption, Democratization & Digitization! In line with these beliefs, together with his colleagues at SOLshare, he has installed the world’s first solar peer-to-peer sharing grid, and that in a remote area of Bangladesh. It all started during his Stanford Ignite Program in 2013 where he ventured out to the Valley equipped with the concept of swarm electrification that he had brought from his time at MicroEnergy International, a Berlin-based consultancy focused on the intersection of microfinance and decentralized energy supply.

“Since 2014 in Dhaka I am amazed and energized how the start-up sector here has been developing in the last 5+ years!” says Sebastian.
